Fillplas is a manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of plastic raw materials. CaCO3 filler masterbatch is one of Fillplas’ main product, and we range it in some different fillers based on carrier resin.
PE filler masterbatch
PE filler masterbatch is a compound of CaCO3 powder, polyethylene (PE) as carrier resin, and the other appropriate additives.
One of the most important fillers of Fillplas is PE filler masterbatch. PE filler is most suitable to use for blowing film and lamination (extrusion coating). These filler items are developed with a high content of selected, treated calcium carbonate with good dispersion, to provide better mechanical properties to the film and sheet. Furthermore, the film uses has good ink adhesion property and stronger heat seal strength and more whiteness as compared to the usage of normal particle size of CaCO3. This filler is also suitable for blowing molding, injection molding applications.
The typical usage rate lets down around 30% depending on wall thickness and mechanical value requirements.
PP filler masterbatch
PP filler masterbatch is the polypropylene-based masterbatch containing calcium carbonate CaCO3 powder, polypropylene (PP) as the carrier, and the other additives.
This filler is also one important material in Fillplas range. Fillplas uses a high content of selected, treated calcium carbonate with good dispersion to produce PP filler. It is suitable for threading yarn, injection molding, sheet extrusion, etc…
Besides that, these filler products have remarkable benefits such as an increase in productivity, a reduction of energetic consumption, and an improvement of the mechanical properties.
The addition of Fillplas PP filler goes between 5 and 30% depending on the final application.
PS filler masterbatch
PS filler is a material made of CaCO3 powder, polystyrene (PS) carrier resin, and the other additives.
Fillplas has HIPS filler, with high impact polystyrene as the carrier resin. Since having high CaCO3 loading, HIPS filler brings whiteness and excellent dispersion with good compatibility. Moreover, this filler offers cost reduction as well as improving the hardness. In addition, it improves surface features, heat resistance, and physical or chemical durability of plastic products.
For application, HIPS filler is suitable to thermoformed PS sheet and foamed PS.
The usage rate should be at 15 to 30%, depends on the final product requirements.
