An additive masterbatch is also known as a functional masterbatch that improves the performance of plastic products. There are several different types of additive masterbatch to choose from.

Anti block additive masterbatch

Producers need to note when using this material:

• More advantageous in roll stock applications and on-line corona treatment.
• Films can be printed offline (after a few days).
• Quickly blooms on the surface of the film to impart slip properties and reduce COF, is used where a low COF is needed in a short period of time.
• The film should be printed immediately after they are made as later on slip additives may hinder the adhesion of lamination films or printing inks.

Optical brightener additive masterbatch

The additive is used to add in polymers for the function of reducing yellowing, improving whiteness, and enhancing the brightness for polymers. This additive contains highly concentrated brightener chemicals which improve whiteness and bring bright look for finished products. In addition, the use of this additive gives a smooth and glossy surface of the film.
